2-12-25 Weather alert: The weather is giving Elsa a run for her money. The Glendale School District is dismissing early to dodge the potential frozen frenzy this afternoon. High School students will be dismissed at 1:00. Elementary parent pick-up at 1:30 and elementary buses at approximately 1:45.
Puppy Play Time was a SWPB reward incentive last week. Students placed a Viking buck into the bucket and 12 lucky students had a chance to play with a puppy.
The Healing Patch, a grief counseling program, is set to return to the elementary. If you are interested in having your elementary child attend or for more information please email Sheri Brooks at sbrooks@gsd1.org
Come support the Glendale Lady Viking basketball seniors tonight, February 11 as they host Northern Cambria for Senior Night. Senior recognition starts at 6 and game follows at 6:30.

The Glendale School District will be utilizing a Flexible Instructional day for Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025.
Mother Nature is feeling a little extra frosty so the Glendale School District is starting with a 2-hour delay for Thursday, February 6, 2025 due to predicted icy conditions. While we love a good skating rink, we prefer our buses and cars not to skate on the ice. Stay cozy, do a little ice dance (or an anti-ice dance, your call), and keep an eye out for a possible FID update in the morning.
