Congratulations to Isaac Yeager, Karter Honan and Wyatt Marble who belong to the Ashville Scout Pack 2221. This is the 1st time that the Ashville Pack placed 1st at the Webelos Klondike. The pack took 1st place overall and 2nd in the sled race. Just another example of our Glendale students doing and learning Amazing things. 💙💛 #vikingproud

Miss Vereshack and some students have kicked off an amazing new initiative! They’ve launched a coffee cart in the elementary where students get to practice valuable communication and money management skills in a real-world setting. Not only did the students work hard to make it happen, but staff supported the initiative placing orders that were served with a side of smiles! 😊 #VikingProud

Good Morning Glendale. It’s still slick out there in some areas, so we’re on a 2-hour delay for Friday, February 14, 2025. Use this bonus time wisely, like finding that missing glove or that red shirt you can wear today for Valentine’s Day.

🌟 Shoutout to Mrs. Ashley Smith! 🌟
A huge thank you to Mrs. Smith for her incredible initiative and support in the Redd Up Altoona program within Glendale! Over the past two weeks, Mrs. Smith has led the effort to collect plastic grocery bags to create sleeping mats for Altoona’s homeless community.
Recycling bins were placed in both the High School and Elementary buildings, and thanks to the generosity of our Viking community, bags have been steadily collected.
We’re grateful for Mrs. Smith’s leadership and compassion, and for everyone who contributed to this meaningful cause. Together, we’re making a difference! 💙♻️🛡️#VikingPride

Glendale Families, Elphaba called and told me to announce that due to icy conditions, the Glendale School District will be operating on a 2-hour delay today. The roads are slipperier than a flying monkey on ice, so take your time and be safe!
We assure you that no flying monkeys were harmed in this announcement.

Tickets are ON SALE!! These won't last long, so don't hesitate to get your tickets now! Call or e-mail Mrs. or Mr. Putorek at the information below. We hope to see you "way down under!"
